Santosh brings with him over 20 years of expertise as a consultant surgeon. His areas of interests are General Surgery, Surgeries for End-Stage Renal Disease that include Dialysis access (AVF, CAPD), Nephrectomies for polycystic kidney & Transplantation. He has been in the forefront of Minimally invasive surgery as part of the team that did Australia’s first single-port laparoscopic donor nephrectomy. He has a Master’s in Minimally Invasive Surgery (University of Adelaide). He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). As a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide, he is actively involved in the academic teaching of medical students and the fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
